Upload files

You need to upload your files into the Context Box before you can begin executing prompts. When a prompt is executed, the Context Box retrieves information from these files and synthesizes a response.

Upload files​

To upload your files for the first time, navigate to the default view of your Context Box. Then, do one of the following:

  • Drag and drop your files into the Drop files here area.
  • Click Upload files and select your files for upload.

For subsequent uploads, click Upload files to select your files.

Note: File limits are determined by your subscription plan.

Supported files​

The following file types are supported by the Context Box:

Text

  • Plain text (.txt)
  • HTML (.html)
  • Markdown (.md)
  • Microsoft Word (.docx)
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • JSON (.json)
  • ReStructuredText (.rst)

Spreadsheets

  • Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
  • CSV (.csv)

Presentations

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx)

Images

  • JPEG (.jpg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • TIFF (.tiff)

Archive Files

  • ZIP (.zip)
  • GZIP (.gzip)
  • RAR (.rar)

Unsupported files​

The following file types are currently not supported:

Video For example:

  • AVI
  • MP4
  • MPEG

Audio For example:

  • MP3
  • WAV
