Connect Your Own Google Gemini account

This guide explains how to configure your "Google Gemini API key". This allows our platform to utilize the Large Language Models (LLMs) hosted in your own Google AI Studio account.

Prerequisites​

  1. You have an active Google account with access to Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/)
  2. You have access to Progress Agentic RAG.

Generate & Locate Your API Key​

  1. Navigate to Google AI Studio (https://aistudio.google.com/)
  2. Click on "Get API key" in the left sidebar at the bottom. Google AI Studio Dashboard
  3. Click "Create API key" button.
  4. Select an existing Google Cloud project, import them or create a new one. Generating Google Gemini Project
  5. Now create a new API key for the respective project. Generating Google Gemini API key
  6. Copy the generated API key and store it somewhere secure.

Finalize Connection​

  1. Navigate to the Progress Agentic RAG dashboard.
  2. When selecting an LLM in "AI models" or "Agent", toggle on "Use your Google Gemini Key".
  3. Enter your API key.
